June's classic read titles are "The Bean Trees" and "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle", written by Barbara Kingsolver. Group members may read one or both of these titles, or just come on the day to listen. Then, in light of the success of a past pairing of Pearl Buck and a modern novel we thought we would pair Henry James' "The Ambassadors" with the 2011 novel by Cynthia Ozick, "Foreign Bodies," which is retelling of James story in a photographic negative.
