considering modern-day perspectives. The next session will meet on Tuesday,

featured classic title is "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad. First published
in 1902, this novella of psychological realism traces the narrator's journey
down the Congo River in Africa. The book can be read on many different levels,
and plumbs the depths of the human psyche. Contact reference librarian Chris
Woods if you need a copy of the book. Sign up in advance to reserve a seat, or
just come on the day to listen. The program is free and open to the public. New
