The Ventress Memorial Library
in Marshfield
hosts an ongoing book discussion group that delves into classic
literature to find fresh insights while considering modern-day
perspectives. The next session will meet on
Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 4:30-6:00 in the library's Historical Room.June's classic read titles are "The Bean Trees" and "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle", written by Barbara Kingsolver. Group members may read one or both of these titles, or just come on the day to listen. Copies of these books are available through the OCLN library network. The program is free and open to the public. New members are always welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
